Thanksgiving in the Hospital

Malia 5 days old

O Christmas Tree

6 1/2

Porter had his 1/2 birthday and we're not too fancy about these things, but a candle in a plate of leftover Thanksgiving turkey made it special for him! I loved how he thought extra hard about his wish while we sang 'Happy Half-Birthday' and he said it even came true already! We love you Porter!

The Big Day!

Our C-section is scheduled for this Tuesday, November 23! I have been very emotional the last few days and can't wait to get it done and meet our baby girl. I'm looking so forward to holding her in my arms! I'm so thankful for my 4 sweet kids and my amazingly wonderful husband and for all their help the last few weeks. I am so blessed! I will think of you all having Thanksgiving dinner with your families while I'm eating turkey in the hospital!

Random Photos from November 19

Brenner likes his hair in a Mohawk and for us to tell him he's so handsome. He doesn't fit so well on my lap anymore! We got corn dogs after school and then ordered pizza from Pizza Hut while we watched a movie before the concert. Dave just started framing Dan and Brigit's house in Blackfoot and barely got home in time to go with us to Porter's concert. Kyler took these pictures of Lexi playing the piano and with her American Girl Doll, Grace, which I thought were very cute! And Porter ready for Tavaci, Lexi by a cute little pink tree, and Porter with Grandma and Grandpa after his concert.

Brenner's Lip Stick

Brenner found my lip stick in the car and when I saw him he said, "I want to be pretty like you Mom!"

Porter's TaVaci Concert

Porter is in a singing group called TaVaci and they sang at the Festival of Trees tonight. It was crowded and hot, but so darn cute! He did a super job! And then we got to go for ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa after. He was so cute getting ready and I told him he looked so handsome in his shirt and tie, and when he saw himself in the mirror he said, "Wow, I DO look good!" We can't wait for his Christmas concert in December. He gets to sing a song with 3 other boys and dress up as Santa!

Piano Recital

Kyler and Lexi had their first Piano Recital on Wednesday night and it was SO fun! They were so excited and a little nervous, and have been looking forward to it and practicing their songs for weeks. They both did a SUPER job and we were very proud of them!

Lexi's songs:

Gee We’re Glad
See Saws
A Happy Song

And she played 4 cute duets with Emily:

Old McDonald
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas
Christopher Columbus
Yankee Doodle

Kyler played:

I’ve Been Wishin’ I Could Go Fishin’
Money Can’t Buy Everything
Hiawatha

Here they are with their piano teacher, my cute sister Em! They love her! I'm so glad they get to take lessons from her!
